Winners and Another Fun Intro at SAS4Kids!

(For our current challenge, please go here.)

What a fun Saturday here again at Send a Smile 4 Kids! We get to announce our winners of the Punches and Diecuts for Kids Challenge, but first we have some fun news to share. We have added one more talented lady to TEAM S.A.S! Today we are welcoming Danni Bindel to our design team. Danni has sent us some beautiful cards for our kids and promoted our cause on her outstanding blog. Danni has her own challenge blog called Flutter by Wednesday   and they are going to team up with SAS4Kids to do a card drive for our kids early next year. Here is what Danni shared about herself:

I am so excited to be joining the design team here at Send A Smile 4 Kids! My name is Danni Bindel and I am a stay at home mom to Matthew who is 10 and Annabelle who is 6 3/4 and a US Army wife to Sam for 12 years. We are currently stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. We also have two dogs and a bird to complete our family.
I started scrapbooking about 14 years ago and swore I'd never stamp. Well, I had a workshop with The Angel Company and the rest is history. I've been stamping now for about 6 years and am a wee bit obsessed. I just love to sit and create. I was so inspired when I found Send A Smile 4 Kids last month as it is a cause that is close to my heart.
My Annabelle was in the Children’s Hospital in Kansas City, a week after she was born. She was having seizures and after a horrific day at the hospital where she was born and watching them poke my baby 18 times to try and get blood and spinal fluid--with no success--they air-lifted her to the Children’s Hospital. She was in their care for a week and basically her seizures were caused from her thyroid not being fully developed and not producing enough calcium and magnesium.
I will never forget how kind and caring the staff was there. So I can just imagine if you add in receiving handmade cards, it truly would be an extra blessing in a most trying time. I am looking forward to inspiring you all to create lots of cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids and am so thankful for this opportunity.
Here is a card by Danni using Stamp Fairy stamps (this challenge's sponsor.) See why we wanted her on the team:)

Please visit Danni's blog to welcome her and leave some congrats and check out her other inspirational cards.

We also get to announce our winners today for both the random drawings for sponsors prizes and the Top Three as chosen by our design team. We have THREE sponsor winners this week- what fun! The winner of the $15 gift certificate from Stamp Shoppe Creations is #37 Aga! The winner of the $15  gift certificate from Crop Stop is #24 Deonna B.! And the winner of the $5 gift certificate from Sassy Cheryl's is #12 Katherine K.! Congratulations ladies! Be sure to pick up your winner's badge from the side of the blog and send me an email at khasheck@gmail.com so I can get you in touch with the sponsors to redeem your prize.

We had so many outstanding cards submitted for our challenge this time- thank you all so much for entering. The Top Three as voted on by our design team are:

#44 Carola
 #42 Faith A.

                                                                       #78 Sylvia B.

Outstanding job ladies! Please display your Top Three badge (from the side of the blog) on your blogs with pride and watch for your cards to be featured in our slide show. If you would like to be a guest design team member for an upcoming challenge and get all the free digis from our sponsor to play with, just send me an email.

Remember you still have time to enter our current challenge, Birthday Fun for Kids- it is open until Friday September 16th at noon CST. And after entering the challenge, please consider sending that card and any others you have that are appropriate for children to Send a Smile 4 Kids to help cheer a child inpatient in a Children's Hospital. Of course you don't need to enter a card in our challenge or have a blog to donate cards to SAS4Kids.  All the information you need is under the tabs above.

One more favor to ask: please click on the Cards for Debby picture above or this link to read about our design team member Debby who could use your thoughts and prayers and a card to cheer her after a serious accident. Thanks so much!
